 Duckbriar is a true island of natural habitat—a rich mosaic of wetland marshes, flooded cypress breaks, and timber holes—surrounded by thousands of acres of Delta agriculture, including rice, corn, milo, and soybeans. Situated just 20 miles east of the confluence of the Arkansas, White, and Mississippi Rivers, the property sits squarely in the center lane of the Mississippi Flyway, one of the most productive migratory corridors in North America.

The landscape features numerous Ducks Unlimited–designed moist soil units, each meticulously managed throughout the year to encourage the growth of grass seed, wetland vegetation, and high-protein natural food sources that wintering waterfowl depend on. This thoughtful stewardship—combined with strategically supplemented agricultural feed—creates the ideal habitat for holding large concentrations of ducks throughout the season.

Do It Yourself

$900 per day per hunter: without guide

(For those experienced hunters that like the challenge of the do it yourself hunt we have the opportunity of calling your own ducks and not being told when to shoot. Includes a comfortable blind supplied with two bags of decoys and transportation into and out of the blind.)

Minimum 6 hunters and max 10 hunters. Trained hunting dogs welcome.

Lodging on sight is a rustic farmhouse originally constructed in the late 30's and added onto.  Original Woody Cyprus paneling, a recent renovated retro kitchen, bar, and restrooms make this a nostalgic duck camp complete with two big screen TV's, two mud rooms, 12 lockers, and a great fire pit to share company and stories.  Complete with 5 bedrooms with two queen size beds in 4 rooms and a king in the master with joining bathrooms to each bedroom.
